In honor of seeing Exit Through The Gift Shop and the appearance of street artist SpaceInvader in the film, here is a way to really turn heads. Space invade your car. It is a moving piece of art whenever it is seen out and about.
Thanx

Flickr user
sarcoptiform has tapped to an ongoing internet installation entitled
Pictures of Stuff.
This one is called Take-Out Lids and we think the simplicity and ultimately the design is splendid. Plus, it opens a discussion for us as a race, our consumption, and addiction to caffeine.
Thank You

Our Los Angeles office visited our Portland Office and during our trip one of the many things we accomplished was picking up a couple of iPads on Launch Day. The line was relatively calm (see picture above), but I can only imagine what is was like back in LA. Luckily we reserved ours.
Long story short: this thing is amazing and will change the way we think and consume as a society. It is really an entirely new way to experience the internet. Will obviously be posting more on this as we develop goodies for it!

Motionographer puts it best when they talk about this new gif animation concept called I Am Not An Artist. "Johnny Kelly and Matthew Cooper have just made a series of 56 hilarious and poignant animated GIFS called
I Am Not An Artist for Elisava, a Barcelona-based design school. The piece, subtitled An Animated GIF Paranoia About Nonstop Design Workers, illustrates the process of design as hard and sometimes painful work using stop-motion and animated sequences that are reduced to 3-7 frame loops. Some are silly, some are trippy, some are mundane. For me the totality of watching the 56 loops playing all together feels a bit like the kind of work we do; windows upon windows of activity, with no end in sight.
You can get involved as well, and upload your own animation sequence to be included in the piece"

Great design meets great functionality from
OOMS. The designer says "each board can be used on its own as a cutting board or serving plate, or put some boards together and you have super-sized your workspace. It’s ideal for cutting those long baguettes! But the best thing is that any wineglass can be fitted into the blank spot of a board. Using the boards at parties allows guests to enjoy both wine & delicacies, while still having one hand free to greet other friends.”
